I think you asked this question somewhere else, but I prefer the OS-2. DS-1 seems kinda weak. Check out the Boss Metal Zone and Boss Metal core. Also the Ibanez Tube Screamer is great and Marshall has a pedal that emulates their amp distortion. You can also consider upgrading your pickups if you havent already. A hot aftermarket bridge humbucker is terrific for metal and some clic tunes.
