What Books Would Suit My Taste?

My interests manifest as an affinity toward interlaced, thorny plot lines; thorough, extreme characters that are beyond reason and convention; and the concept of heavy insanity and lunacy as a main keynote of the book. I also appreciate an "X-Factor" such as the language in "A Clockwork Orange". For reference, also use "A Clockwork Orange" as a pivot point, for I absolutely adored that book. I would enjoy books similar to "A Clockwork Orange" that also possess the abovementioned elements.
