I am looking for some descent metal bands?

I dont want any preachy congregation stuff i want things more a long the lines of the devil wears prada and haste the day also underoath. I am definantly into the harder stuff so if you have some decent suggestions i would appreciate it. I also like some real grindy stuff like tony danza and see you next tuesday so if i can get a hand i would be elated. I should have added that i hate anything from the eighties including iron maiden, judas preist, dio, any thing to that degree and metallica sucks *** from the black albulm on.
