Why do Rapturists think the body will be taken up and why do they ignore Jesus teachings on resurrection?

Jesus clearly says that when we are resurrected we become as angels and that we have no uality.So why is it many Christians think the resurrection involves a restoration of the physical embodiment and also the continuation of a physical exsitence when Jesus clearly tells you that is not so!
