Do you think its okay that dug/alcohol offenses get harsher punishment than crimes?

A crime should get a harsher punishment. The drug and alcohol offense is tough enough, but being a victim myself of offenders (I was nine when it happened to me, my opinion is they deserve a stiffer and harsher penalty under the law. It's sad that your family would rather protect your stepbrother's reputation than take the necessary steps to have him prosecuted. My stepfather molested me, and I believe he honestly think I don't remember it, but I do. Another thing to take into account, God takes care of them better than we can.
